**Avanceon is looking for a talented and motivated SCADA Engineer to join our team. As a SCADA Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems to support our clients in optimizing their industrial processes and infrastructure projects.


Responsibilities:

SCADA System Design: Collaborate with project teams to design SCADA systems tailored to the specific requirements of clients' automation projects.

PLC Integration: Integrate SCADA systems with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to ensure seamless communication and control of industrial processes.

• Data Collection and Analysis: Develop data acquisition strategies to collect, store, and analyze data from various sensors and devices within industrial processes.

System Configuration: Configure SCADA software, alarms, and event handling to ensure optimal system performance and reliability.

• Troubleshooting and Support: Identify and resolve SCADA system issues and provide technical support to clients during installation, commissioning, and maintenance.

Communication Protocols:Implement and configure communication protocols, including Modbus TCP, SNMP, Web Services (RESTful, SOAP), and others, to facilitate data exchange and interoperability between different devices and systems.

Security and Compliance: Implement security measures to protect SCADA systems from cyber threats and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of SCADA system designs, configurations, and project-related information.

Testing and Validation: Conduct thorough testing and validation of SCADA systems to guarantee functionality and performance.

Training: Provide training and guidance to operators and maintenance staff on how to effectively use and maintain SCADA systems.


Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining SCADA systems.
• Proficiency in SCADA software platforms (e.g., Wonderware, OMI, WinCC).
• Strong knowledge of industrial automation technologies, PLCs, and HMI development.
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles related to SCADA systems.
• Excellent problemsolving and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
