Thisposition is part of an Elite, High Caliber affiliate marketingnetworking. The brand of this network will be disclosed during yourinterview. To fully understand your role in affiliate marketing wehave included a brief definition andexamples.

MLM, alsoreferred to as affiliate marketing or referral marketing, is abusiness technique that comprises a person selling a companys goodsor services directly to consumers.

Employees ofMLM companies are engaged as independent contractors (i.e., withoutpay or benefits) who operate as "distributors"and generate income in two differentways:

1. Byoffering the goods or service to other customers directly. Forillustration, Jane works as a distributor for ABC Cosmetics. Shereceives the cosmetics at a reduced cost from the business andresells them to her bigger network of clients at fullprice.

2. Byadding new distributors to their "downline,"which entitles them to a share of the sales made by their recruits.As an illustration, Jane convinces Pam to join her as a distributorfor the ABC Cosmetics Company in exchange for overrides and bonusesbased off Pamssales.
