We are looking for a Logistics Executive in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Essential duties and responsibilities

  • Work with 3PL vendors, ensuring that they deliver the services as per the terms agreed (contracts, quality agreements, SLAs, SOPs): Transportation / Customs brokerage and Control Tower / Product Compliance / Transportation Auditors
  • Develop and maintain robust tracking of freight, demurrage/detention and duty spend, perform data analysis to spot emerging issues and support the transportation team in the development of bottom up budgets based on planned activity.
  • Maintain and monitor freight rates and evaluate ad hoc rates
  • Maintain full visibility of shipments for all inbound/outbound cargo to ensure mínimal leadtime and demurrage/detention expense
  • Communicate with suppliers and freight forwarders to ensure prompt pickup and delivery of shipments
  • Lead the physical transportation processes via air/sea/road from source to customer, including customs clearance and delivery to distributor through effective communication with customs brokers and transporters.
  • Maintains a strong understanding of KSA Customs regulations and requirements through relationships built with suppliers, governmental organisations, and customers.
  • Familiar with different modes of Transportation "Road, Sea and Air"
  • Ensure all shipping documentation is accurate and supplied ontime, in order to effectively clear and deliver goods to customers.
  • Process End customer invoices accurately and on time
  • Initiate improvement projects, design processes and perform process health checks throughout the Supply Chain which result in improved transportation efficiency, quality and/or cost.
  • Track and analyze backorders to ensure root causes are identified and resolved
  • Support the Customer Service team to resolve customer requests/complaints.
  • Ensure that we maintain a high level of trade compliance (shipping documentation accuracy, HS codes, duty rates, INCO terms etc)
  • Ensure full compliance with Johnson & Johnson Quality Standards
  • Continually reviews freight costs, transportation rates, and/or the prices of raw materials to keep costs down where possible
  • Compiles data and statistics used in monthly reports and carrier performance reports.
  • Main performance measures will be: NTS Delivery /

Perfect Order:
On-time in-full (OTIF), Invoice Accuracy (IA), Overages, shortages & damages (OS&D) / Cost Improvement

Essential knowledge and skills

  • Bachelor's degree of Business Administration or industrial engineering (Years of Minimum 3 years of related work experience
  • Subject matter expert within the functional area of Distribution & Transportation
  • Ability to manage complexity and change in a virtual organization
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations regarding distribution and transport
  • Specific knowledge of transport means and systems for healthcare, both for cold chain, ambient temperaturecontrolled transport as well as general cargo
  • Customer oriented and has a proactive attitude.
  • Ability to articulate technical concepts to nontechnical clients and manage internal and external partnerships is required
  • Language: English and Arabic
