Responsibilities:


Data Management:


  • Gather and document data from various sources, including databases, APIs, and manual entries.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive data dictionaries and business glossaries to ensure clear understanding of data definitions and usage.
  • Implement data quality checks and processes to identify and rectify errors or inconsistencies.
  • Monitor data pipelines and systems for performance and stability.

Data Analysis:


  • Conduct basic exploratory data analysis using tools like Excel, Google Sheets, or Tableau.
  • Calculate key metrics and identify trends to support business objectives.
  • Create basic reports and visualizations to communicate data insights effectively.
  • Assist senior data analysts with more complex analysis projects.

Communication and Collaboration:


  • Effectively communicate data findings and recommendations to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
  • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to understand data needs and requirements.
  • Document processes and procedures clearly and concisely.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in basic data analysis tools (Power BI, Excel, Google Sheets, etc.).
  • Knowledge of database concepts and SQL (a plus).
  • Passion for learning and staying current with emerging data trends and technologies.
