Your Opportunity

We are currently bidding for a prestigious new project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and we are looking for a HSE Inspector who will support the Senior HSE Inspector with advising and inspection activities to ensure best HSE practices are being implemented to the client's portfolio of projects.


The purpose of the project under this contract is to provide consulting and management support to a Ministry in KSA with the necessary tools to manage and maintain assets and facilities, through improving activities to meet service requirements, developing business strategies that ensure reducing costs of the life cycle of assets, and improving practices to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

It includes but not limited to long-term management of assets, facilities, resources and services to improve performance, reduce costs and manage the life cycle.

In brief, the scope is for the provision of consulting, technical, management and administrative support for facilities and asset management works.

The Ministry is in the process of developing and executing a transformation program.

This program involves transitioning from the management of operations and maintenance contracts to the management of contracts related to assets and facilities.

The Ministry' primary objective is to achieve maximum value and benefit for the life cycle of assets and facilities within their estate.

Developed short internal training courses and a training matrix for HSQE
Knowledge of Facilities management operations.

Key Accountabilities
Support & c onduct the day-to-day inspection activities at the project sites
Prepare inspection reports
Issue NCRs, observations and proactive notifications based on the results of their surveillance inspection visits
Review site test reports including
Support in the implementation of the HSE plan, Procedures and Technical work instructions
Support improvement based on the lessons learned and best practices
Support in the i nspect ion of the implementation of the processes and procedures at project sites
Support compliance requirements with HSE standards, policies, and guidelines in Projects
Educate the construction Support in the inspection of O&M contractors on the technical compliance to the HSE requirements.
Proactively engaged in the HSE activities to assist in resolving and overcoming technical HSE issues.
Attend regular site surveillance visits and walkthroughs to maintain intensity of the site compliance to the HSE requirements.
Lead in the examination and inspection of facilities.
Monitoring/calibrating inspection and testing equipment.
Conduct field visits to sites and facilities on a regular, scheduled basis and at appropriate intervals as the employer or consultant deems necessary for the consultant to carry out all its obligations and ensure quality
Carry out periodic inspections and scheduled reviews of the work packages of the outsourcing consultants and operation and maintenance contractors, issue health, safety, security and environment improvement notices or work suspension notices - where necessary - and conduct independent investigations regarding incidents

Specific Requirements
Minimum 7 Years of experience in inspection
Practical experience in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Experience in quality services and studies.
Public sector experience. Experience in health, safety, and environment.
Good knowledge and practice of ISO 45001 Occupational Health & Safety Standard as well as ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems Inspection certification as applicable (e.g., NDT, API, AWS, CSWIP, Coating)
