Job Description:
The Principal/Associate Electrical Engineer will be responsible for design review of electrical designs across a wide range of building and infrastructure projects.
Job DutiesEnsure that all design teams follow the required standards.
Lead and supervise design review of electrical services.
Supervise design according to local rules, regulations and design guides.
Review technical specifications and reports.
Supervise engineers in all project related matters.
Responsible for QA and the checking of all design work carried out prior to formal issue.
Coordinate with Architects, Structural Engineers and other MEP disciplines.
Ensure that fully coordinated designs are delivered to program requirementsAct as a focal point for matters related to MEP design.
Co-ordinate and review BIM modelsCarry out arithmetical checks and independent design checks of other Engineers' design and design reviews in accordance with quality procedures.
Be responsible for the accuracy of the work of the team.Contribute to successful project completion and management by providing expert technical services in accordance with the project time and quality.
Lead the coordination process with other senior team leaders for continuity of the project.Participate in preparation of bids and proposals on the commercial and technical side.
Review and check specifications, reports and drawings to ensure quality of design and output.
Responsible for design activities of complete electrical systems including power, lighting, emergency lighting, central battery systems, lighting control, earthing, lightning protection, telecom, security, ELV, BMS and energy management system as assigned.
Responsible for technical analysis and resolution of engineering problems.Coordination with Authorities for approvals of schemes.
Professional DevelopmentMaintain, develop and retain the highest appropriate standard of technical skill.
Commit to continual professional development and learning on relevant technological, business and human relationship matters.
Client RelationshipsMaintain and develop Client relationship.

Qualifications:
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Specific Skills Required:
Proficient knowledge of design and engineering procedures.
Quality oriented.
Planning projects and time management.
Sound Knowledge of various codes and standards.
Design experience in various types of buildingsAptitude to lead and direct.
Background experience in a Design Engineer Role.
Experience in electrical design of buildings (from execution to closure) and have worked on diverse project of different types (residential, retail, commercial, healthcare, etc...)
