Our client is a new player in the healthcare business, setting-up new ventures with strategic partners in the following segments:
Long-term care and rehabilitation hospitals
Telehealth and virtual clinics
E-pharmacy
Medical laboratories
Derma clinics
Autism centers

The company is looking to hire a Chief Operating Officer (COO), managing the shared services and supporting the different entities in their setup and launch.

Essential Functions / Responsibilities


At the Holding level:

Lead the setup and oversee the execution of the shared services department
Provide accurate and timely reports outlining the operational condition of the company.
Spearhead the development, communication and implementation of effective growth strategies and processes.

Work closely with senior management team to create, implement and roll out plans for operational processes, internal infrastructures, reporting systems and company policies all designed to foster growth, profitably and efficiencies within the company.

Work with the CEO and CFO in the capital raise process, participate in the companys road shows. Meet, interact and present information effectively to potential investors.

Motivate and encourage employees at all levels as one of the key leaders in the company including but not limited to professional staff, management level employees and executive leadership team members.

Leads and drives a team or unit to enhance product or service quality.

Creates and maintains a work environment with high morale, pride, job ownership, and productivity in which employees are committed to the organization.

Foster a growth oriented, positive and encouraging environment while keeping employees and management accountable to company policies, procedures and guidelines.

Contributes to the development of the organizations strategic goals and objectives, as well as the overall management of the organization


At the level of each venture:
Work closely with the CEOs to understand their needs and the way to support their growth

Play an active role in overseeing the performance of the ventures and provide operational input to define challenging and realistic goals for growth, performance, and profitability.

Hold regular meetings with the management of the Venture, and provides valuable support from regulatory, operational and market knowledge perspective
Create effective measurement tools to gauge the efficiency and effectiveness of internal and external processes


Qualifications, Education & Experience:
Minimum 10 years of management and budgetary experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in a healthcare setting
Evidence of the ability to consistently make good decisions through a combination of analysis, wisdom, experience, and judgment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
Enthusiasm and willingness to promote growth and expansion of low and no-cost healthcare services for underserved communities
Ability to effectively build organization and staff capacity
Must have the ability to develop a highly effective and dedicated workforce
Must have the ability to create protocols and streamline processes that ensure the organization runs smoothly
Experience leading and inspiring others to new levels of effectiveness and operational impact
Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment
