- Plan and create menus that meet the company's standards and customer preferences
- Oversee food preparation and cooking to ensure consistency and quality of dishes
- Manage kitchen staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations
- Monitor food inventory and order supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors
- Collaborate with the management team to develop new menu items and promotions
- Manage food cost and labor cost to meet financial targets
- Conduct regular kitchen inspections and address any issues promptly
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked kitchen at all times
- Stay updated with industry trends and new techniques to continuously improve the menu and kitchen operations
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant or hotel
- Degree in Culinary Arts or related field is preferred
