Purpose ofthePosition

Asystem administrator is an essential professional who isresponsible for providing a reliable work environment from serverand network performance to security and all other areas that keepan organization s operations systems running smoothly. Systemadministrators must have an in-depth understanding of computersoftware, hardware, andnetworks/system.

Key Responsibilities &Duties

• Update productinformation and content on thewebsite
  
• Updatecontent managed areas (copy &artwork)
  
• Managewebsite configuration ¶meters
  
• Overseesystem performance and report generation
  
• Scopeand document ongoing website functional projects/improvements
  
• Testand deploy functional change / Contribute to User Acceptancetesting of
  new requirements andimprovements
  
• Liaisewith internal and external stakeholders regarding the day today
  
• managementof thewebsite
  
• Previousexperience in a Website Content Management System Manageror
  
• Excellentworking knowledge of Experience Managertool
  
• Assistwith creation and oversight of website marketing including copyfor
  community, amenity, floorplanpages
  
• Researchand assist with developing upcoming products, service protocols,and standards in support of systems software procurement anddevelopmentefforts
  
• Securesystem integrity from any breaches or viruses and play an essentialrole in risk-mitigation planning, including creating backup plans,safeguards for data, user security policies, and identitymanagement.
  
• Solvethe tasks and reply to the requests in the first 24h from thereceived
  emails/tickets
  
• Effectivelywork into projects in time and budgetallocated
  
• Identify,manage and engage outside vendors where needed to support work loadand skillrequirements
  
• Upgradeand manage hardware andsoftware
  
• Gainin-depth knowledge about the customCMS
  
• Performmaintenance for all systems
  
• Collectand analyses data to optimize performance of thesystem
  
• Manageand onboard user accounts, credentials, permissions, access rights,storage allocations, and active directoryadministration.
  
• Trainusers on hardware andsoftware
  
• Troubleshootproblems with thesystem
  
• Ensurehigh-level security and efficiency resulting in 100% output andconfidentialinformation
  
• Monitoringthe local area network (LAN), wide area networks (WANs) and networksegments and servers, for threats orerrors
  
• Offertechnical support and training foremployees
  
• Design,organize, modify, and support an organization s computer systems,including operating systems, business applications, security tools,web servers, email systems, and user hardware (laptops,PCs)
  
  Technicalresponsibilities
  
• Monitorthe software application and document and analyzeproblems
  
• Collaboratewith the Development team to ensure proper integration of theapplication
  
• Workclosely with the Development team and customers to tune andtroubleshootproblems
  
• Developtest plans to verify the logic of new or modifiedapplications
  
• Makesure to maintain systemdocumentation
  
• Plan,coordinate, test, and communicate changes, upgrades/maintenanceschedules, and new services with the Development team, ensuringbusiness operations will operate correctly in current and futureenvironments
  
• Setup administrator and serviceaccounts
  
• Workclosely with the Office of Audits and Analysis to ensureappropriate controls and audit logs are in place.
  
• Provideadvice and training to staff and endusers
  
• Maintaincurrent knowledge of relevant technologies and businessprocesses
  
• Updateproduct information and content on thewebsite
  
• Managewebsite configuration & parameters (e.g., payment options,stockmanagement)
  
• Liaisewith an e-commerce agency regarding the day-to-day management ofthewebsite
  
• Liaisewith internal resources regarding the day-to-day management of thewebsite
  
• Understandand develop sources of traffic (& the factors thatinfluence it): email, SEO, PPC, affiliates, social media, catalogsand soon
  

Requirements

• BSc/Bain Information Technology, Computer Science, or a relatedfield
  
• Professionalcertification (e.g., Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator(MCSA)) is aplus
  
• Provenexperience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator orsimilarrole
  
• Experiencewith databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patchmanagement
  
• Knowledgeof system security (e.g., intrusion detection systems) and databackup/recovery
  
• Abilityto create scripts in Python, Perl or otherlanguage
  
• Familiaritywith various operating systems andplatforms
  
• Resourcefulnessand problem-solvingaptitude
  
• Excellentcommunicationskills
  
• Greatgood communicationsskills
