Opening for Instrument Technician (Shutdown Project) KSA

JOB Description of INSTRUMENT TECHNICIAN

  • Conduct work in a manner prescribed by Company Environmental Health and Safety Work
Practices.

  • Identify and Assess opportunities to improve safety, reliability and maintenance costs.
  • Troubleshooting and repairs to plant Instrumentation and Electrical equipment systems to support
production.

  • Execution of Instrumentation PM work orders.
  • Repairs/calibration of various control valves, actuators and measurement devices.
  • Record and report equipment problems/calibrations and repair records.
  • Minor Electrical and Instrumentation construction tasks such as wiring, termination loop test etc.
  • Installation of Instruments device, function testing.
  • Use Asset Management system to track work orders, parts necessary to make repairs, improve
information and preventative maintenance activities.

  • Respond to afterhours maintenance/troubleshooting calls
  • Basic knowledge of PLC'S and DCS systems.
  • Check valve stroke and positioned for proper functioning
  • Educational qualification is diploma in electronics & instrumentation with minimum 5 years in
petrochemical & gas. Main consideration will be MIDDLE EAST experience. Or ITI with 10years
experience. Mainly shutdown experience will be added advantage.
