Parsons is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced
GIS Specialist to join our dynamic team in
Green Riyadh Program. The SOW includes the construction of irrigation water tanks, irrigation networks, softscape, hardscape, and planting in 7 neighborhoods and 3 major roads within Riyadh City.


Responsibilities:


  • Utilize advanced GIS software and tools to create, manipulate, analyze, and visualize spatial data.
  • Perform data collection, integration, and validation to ensure accuracy and completeness of GIS databases.
  • Develop and maintain GIS databases, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
  • Conduct spatial analysis and generate reports, maps, and visualizations to support decisionmaking processes.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to identify GIS requirements and provide technical expertise for project planning and implementation.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of GIS protocols, standards, and best practices.
  • Stay up to date with advancements in GIS technology and tools, and recommend innovative solutions to enhance workflows and efficiency. Provide training and support to team members on GIS software and methodologies.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • Minimum of 8 years of professional experience as a GIS Specialist or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in GIS software, such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar tools.
  • Extensive knowledge of GIS principles, data management, spatial analysis, and cartographic principles.
  • Proficiency in data manipulation, geoprocessing, and spatial modeling.
  • Experience with database management, including data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
  • Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize workloads, and meet project deadlines.
