Develop and implement cost control procedures and systems to monitor project expenses throughout the project lifecycle.

Collaborate with project managers and engineers to establish project budgets, cost estimates, and financial forecasts.

Monitor project costs, identify cost variances, and analyze their impact on project budgets.

Review and analyze project progress reports, invoices, and financial documents to ensure accuracy and adherence to project budgets.

Prepare regular cost reports, including cost tracking, forecasting, and analysis, to provide project stakeholders with accurate and timely information.

Identify cost-saving opportunities and provide recommendations to project teams to optimize project expenditures.

Conduct regular audits of project expenses to verify compliance with contract terms, company policies, and industry standards.

Collaborate with procurement teams to analyze supplier and subcontractor invoices, negotiate pricing, and ensure cost effectiveness.

Participate in project meetings and provide cost-related insights, updates, and recommendations to project teams.

Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to cost control and recommend improvements to existing processes.


Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

Proven work experience in cost control, project controls, or a similar role within the construction or contracting industry.

Strong knowledge of cost control principles, techniques, and methodologies.

Proficiency in using cost control software and tools.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy.

Familiarity with relevant Saudi Arabian regulations and industry standards is preferred.
