S3 International, wholly owned subsidiary of System Studies & Simulation, Inc.

), with headquarters in Huntsville, AL, has an _immediate_** need of a Simulation/Simulator Subject Matter Expert for an assessment mission in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The SME should be familiar with the design, utilization, and sustainment of US Army Simulators and Training Devices.

The SME should have experience in support of Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) for site selection, installation, testing, modification, organizational maintenance, and obsolescence review.

Experience in operating and maintaining the AH-64E Longbow Crew Trainer (LCT) and the Transportable Black Hawk Operations Simulator (TBOS) is preferred.

S3 International will conduct an assessment of fielded LCT and TBOS systems on about 1 March.

This mission will require the SME to be in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for approximately 3 weeks on Business VISA to assess simulator performance readiness at a minimum of three sites and prepare a comprehensive assessment report.

SME should have 5 years' experience supporting the sustainment of US Army simulators and devices.

SME consultant should also have an Associates' degree from an accredited college or university, or in lieu of a degree, must have an additional 2 years of specific relevant experience supporting simulator operations and sustainment.

SME should have SME knowledge of simulator acquisition and planning, testing, data configuration/management, obsolescence thresholds, systems technologies, simulator operations, simulated operating environments, geographical database(s) and logistics support plans.

Past engineering experience in developing or modifying devices with an Original Equipment Manufacturer is a plus.


REQUIREMENTS.


Must have an Associates' Degree from an accredited college or lieu of a degree, at least 7 years' experience in supporting simulator operations and maintenance.


With degree, must have a minimum of 5 years' experience supporting operations and sustainment of US Army simulators and devices.


Must have SME knowledge of simulator acquisition and planning, site selection, data configuration and management, obsolescence thresholds, systems technologies, simulator operations, simulated operating environment and logistics.

Must have a valid passport (will be issued a Business Visa via S3 International)

Must be able to travel on or before 25 February 2024

Must be medically fit to conduct mission requirements at high elevation locations in Saudi Arabia

Engineering experience in developing, modifying, and performing acceptance inspections of US Army helicopters is a plus

Experience as a Pilot or Instructor Pilot in the UH-60M Blackhawk or the AH-64E Guardian Helicopters is a plus

Must be able to obtain an International Drivers' License

Must have personal medical insurance to cover this temporary OCONUS assignment
