About the Company:

We are a fintech startup aiming to provide innovative lending solutions to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

Our mission is to help SMEs grow by providing access to fast and affordable financing, using technology and data analytics to underwrite loans and make lending decisions quickly and efficiently.

Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement credit policies, procedures and guidelines fit for the Saudi SMEs target segments, while ensuring that lending decisions are consistent and in compliance with Saudi regulatory requirements
  • Put the right procedures in place to analyze and assess the creditworthiness of potential borrowers by analyzing financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant information
  • Understand data and identify patterns and trends that can inform lending decisions and credit policy development
  • Monitor and review loan portfolios to ensure that they are performing in line with expectations, identifying problem loans and recommending appropriate actions
  • Collaborate with data analysts/scientists and software engineers to develop and implement innovative lending technologies and platforms
  • Collaborate with other departments such as marketing, sales, and operations to ensure that lending strategies are aligned with the company's overall business objectives.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in credit risk and risk management in the lending industry, preferably in SME lending.
  • Experience working with credit risk engines and tools.
  • Familiarity with Saudi regulatory requirements (including but not limited to SAMA regulations) related to lending and credit risk management in the KSA market.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Passion for innovation and using technology to solve complex problems.

Must-haves:


  • Native arabic speaker
  • Fluency in English
