Principal Objective:
A brief summary of the responsibilities of the position

Major Activities Performed:
List the major job function(s) of the position

  • Develop a Smart City Masterplan inline with the City's Master Plan Vision and early development stage of JCPDI, based on innovative global trends, yet responsive to local contexts, development targets, and value return.
  • Provide technical and expert advice to relevant project teams and senior Client management in the design and delivery of all Smart City Applications.

Experience and Qualifications:
List the background experience required for the position, the number of years of experience, and in what fields. Describe the desirable academic background.

  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering or technologyrelated field with at least 10 years of experience.
  • Postgraduate degree in Smart Cities technology or a relevant degree with transferable skills is a key advantage.
  • Thorough understanding of Smart Cities requirements in a Master Planning, Urban Planning, and regulatory planning scheme framework, with Service Providers and/or with property and infrastructure developers.
  • Wellestablished industry networks within the supply chain & service provider/vendor environment.
  • Proven ability to perform in a management capacity.
  • Strong understanding & experience in Sustainability and specifically the relationship between Smart and Sustainable Cities.
  • Strong analytical skills, creativity, and presentation/communication skills to encourage senior management to support Smart City proposals.
  • Indepth knowledge of industry practices and Smart City regulation. Expertise in relevant technologies.
  • Demonstrate drive, passion, and commitment to initiatives while contributing positively to the office environment
  • Excellent planning and organization skills.
  • Ability to make decisions, act on own initiative and operate proactively with a positive attitude.
