Qualification:


  • Bachelors of Engineering (Specific discipline) + 2 years as Lead Engineer
  • Masters of Engineering (Specific discipline) + 2 years as Lead Engineer
  • PhD + 1,5 year as Lead Engineer
**Experience: International experience advantages

Legal:

1. Consistently deliver business solutions which contribute to business results and improved competitiveness (consulting advice, business options)


  • Deliver quality solutions/ service cost effectively on time and within risk parameters

- 'Interpret the desired outcome into a detailed plan that can be implemented by a project team

  • Plan and forecast of the project
  • Acquire appropriate staff, materials, and equipment
  • Liaise with contractors, suppliers and internal company stakeholders
  • Keep the project on schedule (according to plan and stage gates)
  • Keep the project on budget
  • Man management of the project team (internal and insourced people resources)
  • Ongoing report of the project progress
  • Ensure that all aspects of the project proceed while adhering to Ma'aden's SOPs as well as external regulations and laws this includes maintenance of project documentation
  • Troubleshooting problems as they arise on a project finding efficient and effective solutions
Register project in accordance with Ma'aden's procedures and systems

Responsible for the development, updating and implementation of project execution plans for all projects

Responsible for developing quality estimates and control base with quality cost control for all projects

Responsible for developing and managing of realistic schedule on projects

Ensure proper governance is in place and complied too on all projects, i.e. steering committees, gate reviews, decision review boards, Legal and Commercial requirements and audits

Responsible for meeting cash flow targets on all projects

Meet risk management requirements on all projects

Ensure that all appropriate functions are timely allocated and represented on all projects

Ensure that quality front-end-loading is done on all projects

Ensure that all project meet safety requirements

Handover and close-out of projects as per Ma'aden's technology requirements

Consistently deliver solutions which contributes to business results and improved competitiveness

Deliver quality cost effective solutions on time and within risk parameters

Accept and implement advice given on programmes and systems

Responsible for gate reviews and decision review board are implemented on all projects

Ensure that all legal requirements on projects are implemented, i.e. safety appointments, competition requirements, etc.

Responsible for completeness and accuracy of project reports and relevant documentation/administration
