What you will do
The Business Development Manager - ME is a key role based in Saudi Arabia and reporting directly to the GM- MEA.
- Identify, investigate and evaluate new growth opportunities in order to generate revenue leads, improve profitability, and help the business to grow in the ME region
- Develop strong consultative relationships with endusers, key consultants, OEMs, insurance companies, and other specifiers in order to ensure that our products and/or systems are specified
- Identify total offering opportunities in the region, closely align with strategic customers and endusers and work to drive new product introductions in partnership with the regional sales teams
- Prepare and deliver highquality technical presentations, live product demonstrations to endusers, consultants, developers, and recommend viable solutions for their project requirements
How you will do it
As a Business Development Manager, you will use in-depth technical knowledge of Fire Protection Systems to work closely with the Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Technical Services & Training, and other functional groups to inform them of market conditions, pricing issues, competitive trends, and similar.
- Create and maintain consultative client relationships and engage in retention selling to ensure longterm success and profitability
- Research and identify new business leads including new market verticals, growth areas, trends, products, and services or new ways of reaching existing potential
- Think strategically seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business
- Responsible for seeking synergy opportunities across the NBU's, both in terms of processes, tools, systems, shared workforces, crossselling and upselling, then for working toward business case justification and implementation
- Provide technical training to architects, consulting engineers, AHJs, endusers, OEMs and key accounts
- Coordinate and align with Sales to ensure awareness of upcoming projects, opportunities and/or changes in customer specifications to maximize chances of opportunity conversion
- Participate in strategic planning processes the regional and global Business Development and Product Management Leadership
What we look for
Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineer
- 5 8 years minimum sales/business development experience in Fire Protection systems specifically in Engineered and Pre Engineered systems
- Functional experience in areas of strategic planning and marketing, business and market development and market research is required
- Ability to lead, develop strategic partnerships, and present concepts and articulate business values to consultants, developers and key decisionmakers
- Selfstarter, tireless and resultsdriven mentality, able to continually critique & optimize performance
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Flexible for significant traveling in the region
