About This Job:


This is an exciting opportunity where you will be responsible for the sales performance of the Astellas oncology portfolio across Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

Based out of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia you will be reporting directly to the General Manager - KSA and UAE and managing a high-performing team of Key Account Associates across the region.


As the KSA & UAE Oncology Area Manager, you will have the opportunity to support the Astellas transformation journey and shape up the future ways of working to achieve financial targets.


Key Activities:

  • You will build and execute strategies to meet sales goals for KSA & UAE, drive Country sales performance, market share, and optimal resource utilization;
  • Build effective and enduring customer relationships; identifies and works closely with the most significant customers in the Country.
  • You will build effective and enduring business relationships with key customers and stakeholders across KSA & UAE.
  • Lead a highperforming team of Key Account Associates; train and develop as necessary, providing coaching and feedback aligned to Company Leadership Standards and Sales Functional Competencies
  • Develop an indepth understanding of the KSA & UAE market environment and customers; communicate customer insights to internal stakeholders and support the development of new business strategies; identifies top business opportunities or gaps through analysis of available reports.
  • Responsible for top
- and bottom-line performance, Mid-year review/appraisals of the team, and financial compliance.


Essential Knowledge & Experience:

  • Previous experience as Sales Manager across KSA and/or UAE within a global multinational pharma company.
  • Credible leader: engages colleagues/team to effectively deliver strategic plan
  • Speciality care experience is essential. Oncology would be highly preferred
  • Experience with strong customer focus; in multidisciplinary, matrix and crosscultural settings.
  • Experience in launching new medications within Saudi Arabia / UAE would be preferable.
  • Arabic and English language skills are essential

Preferred Knowledge & Experience:

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills and ability to develop and maintain good working relations with internal and external stakeholders.

Educations/Qualifications:

  • Education to University level (preferably Pharmacy degree) or equivalent
