We are Looking for an ESG Director for one of our esteemed clients based in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia:

Title: ESG Director

Experience: 15+ years in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) management, sustainability, or related field.

Other relevant experience in a relevant field.

Job Profile: The ESG Director will play a crucial role in developing and implementing the organizations Environmental, Social, and Governance strategies. This includes overseeing sustainability initiatives, ensuring compliance with ESG standards, and driving the companys commitment to responsible business practices.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. ESG Strategy Development:

n Develop, communicate, and implement the organizations ESG strategy aligned with business objectives.

n Stay abreast of global ESG trends and best practices to enhance the companys sustainability efforts.

2. Stakeholder Engagement:

n Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including investors, customers, and regulatory bodies, to communicate ESG initiatives and performance.

n Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ESG considerations into decision-making processes.

3. Compliance & Reporting:

n Ensure compliance with relevant ESG regulations, standards, and reporting requirements.

n Prepare and publish regular ESG reports, highlighting key performance indicators and progress towards sustainability goals.

4. Water Management & Waste Management:

n Develop and implement comprehensive strategies for sustainable water management and waste reduction.

n Ensure compliance with local water management and waste disposal regulations in Saudi Arabia.

n Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to optimize water usage and implement efficient waste management practices within the organization.

5. Environmental Management:

n Oversee environmental impact assessments and develop strategies to minimize the organizations ecological footprint.

n Implement initiatives to improve resource efficiency, reduce waste, and promote sustainable practices.

6. Social Responsibility:

n Lead social impact initiatives, fostering diversity and inclusion within the organization.

n Collaborate with community partners to address social challenges and contribute positively to local communities.

7. Governance & Ethics:

n Enhance corporate governance frameworks, ensuring transparency and accountability.

n Implement and monitor ethical business practices and risk management strategies.

8. ESG Performance Metrics:

n Define and track ESG performance metrics, providing regular updates to senior leadership and stakeholders.

n Establish benchmarks and goals for continuous improvement in ESG performance.

Qualification, Experience & Skills

Qualification:

n Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business, or related field.

n MBA or Masters in a related field (Preferred)

n Certification in ESG management is an added advantage.

Experience: 15+ years in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) management, sustainability, or related field. Other relevant experience in a relevant field.

Skills:

n Strong analytical and strategic thinking.

n Excellent Communication

n Proficient in Arabic (Preferred not Mandatory)

n Stakeholder Management

n Knowledge of ESG Reporting Frameworks

n Decarbonization standards for example but not limited to GRI, SASB, TCFD
