Leverage your industry expertisedesign abilities and technical acumen to drive projects fromconcept through construction. You are a seasoned Architect and recognized contributorto highprofile design driven projects. Our team is highly creativecollaborative and dedicated to innovative problem solving anddesign excellence. You demonstrate innovative thinking balancedwith ability to present realworld technical solutions to new designchallenges. You thrive with personal responsibility andaccountability but embody and embrace open communication andteamoriented success. You will work closely with the PrincipalInCharge theDesign Director and the Design Manager within our collaborative andsupportive team environment to develop projects from conceptualdesign through execution. A wellrounded and thoughtful approach todesign forms the foundation of our practice and our clients hire usbecause they believe in the transformative power of design. What You Will Do

• Managethe design and delivery for a range of project types in a varietyof settings including highrise and commercialoffice buildingled
• Lead project meetings and presentations;ensure client is adequately briefed on project progress.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of clients programrequirements and standards and policies for completion to sharewith your project teams.
• Lead thecommunication between the project team clients contractors andconsultants.
• Actively lead a range of projectteam sizes for successful delivery.
• Assist inestablishing overall project budgets and milestone schedules incoordination with Design Manager and Design Director.
• Ensure all work is carried out to the requirements ofthe client with the design team working to the correctspecifications and delivering a high quality and timely product tothe client.
• Anticipate and resolve complextechnical and design issues as they arise during documentpreparation and construction administration.
• Collaborate with design team clients consultants contractorsfabricators regulatory agencies and other vendors to meet overallproject objectives.
• Provide design andtechnical guidance and innovative solutions to resolve design andtechnical challenges.
• Lead more juniormembers of staff: motivate and ensure quality of work; ensure clearcommunication; understand the skills of the team and widerresources within the office.
• Be an advocatefor Gensler sustainability commitments internally andexternally.
• Make sustainability an integralpart of every project.
• Define projectsustainability targets in collaboration with the client and theproject team at the start of each project.
• Understand clients ESG goals and work with project teams towardsachieving them.
• Support and encourage teammembers to pursue sustainability learning.
• Involvement in office regional and sector business developmentinitiatives.
• Contribute to office activitiesinitiatives and learning programs.

Your Qualifications

• Bachelors degree inArchitecture; Masters degree preferred.
• Mustbe a Registered Architect.
• Extensiveportfolio of work preferably across various practiceareas.
• 10 years of project experience in anarchitectural practice with experience in several practiceareas.
• Demonstrable experience in largeprojects with complex stakeholders.
• Abilityto maintain and nurture existing client relationships and build newones.
• Proven performance in leading thedesign and delivery process across the entire projectlifecycle.
• Experience leading managing andmentoring multiple project teams.
• Provenexperience in fiscal accountability on various projecttypes.
• Strong leadership organizationalcommunication and relationship management skills.
• Wellrounded strategic thinker with an integratedapproach to design management and technical project resolution whocan help shape a vision for the future.
• Advanced working knowledge of architecture design principlestechnical details material characteristics building codes standardsand accessibility requirements.
• Ability tohandle challenging situations with tact grace and emotionalintelligence.
• Demonstrated passion for designthinking.
• Knowledge in sustainable designprinciples required.
• LEED WELL Fitwel LFA orother rating systems accreditation preferable.
• Understand key principles for leading and achieving netzero projects.
• Capacity to drivesustainability focused discussions with clients andteams.
• Demonstrated commitment tosustainability and sustainable building practicesrequired.
• Previous experience in sustainabledesign projects preferred. At least one project of the candidateportfolio should showcase this focus. Especially built projectswith LEED Living Building Challenge WELL Building Standard Fitweland /or Net Zero Building certification.
• Advanced knowledge of design software including Revit; Rhino;Illustrator; InDesign; Photoshop.

Your Design TechnologyQualifications Essential

• Deep understanding and expertise in Autodesk Revit for designauthoring documentation data extracts and projectdelivery.
• Deep understanding and expertise inRhinoceros for design authoring.
• Goodknowledge and experience with interoperability workflows betweenRhino & Revit throughout all the stages of aproject.
• Basic understanding and familiaritywith realtime rendering processes and material creation &management within the context of integrated BIM and parametricworkflows.
• Basic understanding andfamiliarity with Computational Design applications such asGrasshopper and/or Dynamo.
• Basicunderstanding and familiarity with simulation principles andprocesses including interpretation and application ofresults.

Desirable

• Good knowledge and experience with the strategic planning and setupof BIM projects.
• Good knowledge andexperience with collaboration within the BIM context includingcloudbased markups consultant coordination and clashdetection.
• Understanding of the capabilitiesand application of Information Management tools such as AconexAsite Newforma etc.
• Good knowledge andexperience with Computational Design applications such asGrasshopper and/or Dynamo.
• Good knowledge andexperience with simulation principles and processes includinginterpretation and application of results. Familiarity withPerformance Design applications such as Autodesk Insight Sefairaand Ladybug tools.
• Good knowledge andexperience in the use of VR walkthroughs and panoramas for clientpresentations consultant coordination and internal designreviews.
