OVERALL JOB PURPOSE:


Design and implement behaviour based safety (BBS) programs to address safety culture barriers with effective solutions for changing safety culture and securing a positive safety behaviour change

3.


QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:


Qualification:


1. Bachelors Degree in relevant field

2. HSE qualification advantageous
**3. Psychology training / certification advantageous

  • Design and implement BBS programs/interventions that eliminate high risk behaviours and/or change them to least risk behaviours:

Conduct safety behaviour data collection; audits and worker surveys to gauge the effectiveness of existing safety management system:


  • Conduct workplace observations on how work is actually done:

Perform gap analysis and review of current cultural and behavioural initiatives used throughout Ma'aden:


  • Design and implement promotions that have a visual/emotional impact, like advertising safety change initiatives, frequent (mandatory) workplace safety dialogues/discussions:

Survey and map operations and procedures in order to design the appropriate BBS programs:


  • Analyse and define high risks in jobs (describing work behaviours leading to injuries):

Design and execute communication and change management plans:


  • Implement and track measures to monitor impact of BBS interventions and optimise as required:

Monitor, record safety performance and report to Management and other key stakeholders:


  • Compile and conduct BBS training (theory and practical):
