Leads internal project to ensure that it meets all scope, time, budget and quality expectations, through planning, controlling and managing.

Manages corporate and third party vendor efforts to plan, build and implement solutions to internal problems and issues.

_ Responsibilities:
_

Lead and participate in highly complex projects with customers, managers, endusers, and GDIT team;
Resolves complex hardware/software compatibility and interface design considerations;
Designs, develops, codes, tests, and debugs complex new software products, or makes significant enhancements to existing items;
Manages project financials
Meets or exceeds approved budgets.
Provides reliable financial forecasts to Management.
Manages stakeholder relationships
Manages first level stakeholder relationships.
Leads project team
May lead internal as well as external resources with in a predefined area.
May provide performance feedback on project team members.

_ Education and Experience Required:
_

Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field or equivalent work experience.
Typically, 5 10 years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree,

_ Knowledge and Skills:
_

Demonstrates basic knowledge of project administration, client relations, IT industry, accounting, and time recording/effort tracking.
Demonstrates basic knowledge of project management methods and tools.
Participates in the Services PM Profession community.
On a development plan to build project management skills.
