A market leading records management company that applies its experience in records management solutions for the benefit of its clients.

Along with offsite facilities, the company has the expertise, technology, and systems to provide a wide range of products and services relating to client records.


Role Objective
IT Network manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of an organization's network. he-she will work with a team of IT professionals to ensure that all systems are running smoothly and securely.

IT Network manager also be tasked with developing new strategies and plans for improving the network in the future. This includes anything from expanding the network to accommodate more users, upgrading hardware or software, etc.


Duties And Responsibilities

  • Establishing security measures to protect network infrastructure from unauthorized access
  • Monitoring network performance to identify potential problems and help ensure high performance levels
  • Designing and implementing network security measures, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption technology
  • Maintaining the network infrastructure by troubleshooting problems with servers, routers, switches, etc.
  • Coordinating with IT staff to implement software upgrades or patches on servers or workstations
  • Monitoring network performance to identify potential problems and help ensure high performance levels
  • Developing policies and procedures for network security and usage, including acceptable use policies for computer networks
  • Monitoring activity on the network to ensure compliance with established standards
  • Training staff on proper network use and security measures, such as how to spot phishing schemes or computer viruses
  • Design, implement, and maintain the network infrastructure for an organization
  • Plan and coordinate network upgrades, expansions, and security measures
  • Ensure that all network hardware and software is uptodate and running smoothly
  • Monitor network usage and performance, using tools such as packet sniffers and traffic analyzers
  • Generate reports on network utilization and performance
  • Troubleshoot network problems when they occur
  • Work with vendors to purchase new equipment and resolve technical issues
  • Train staff on proper use of the network and its resources
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures related to network usage and security
  • Stay uptodate on advances in networking technology
  • Manage a team of network administrators and technicians
  • Oversee the installation of new network hardware and software

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field
  • 7+ years experience managing enterprise networks
  • CCNP or CCIE certification
  • Indepth knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of network security principles and best practices
  • Ability to manage projects from start to finish, within budget and timeline constraints
  • Exceptional analytical and problemsolving skills

Special Knowledge

  • CCNA Security, CCNP Security, or CCIE Security certification.
  • Experience with network virtualization technologies (VMware NSX, Cisco Nexus, etc.).
  • Experience with cloud networking technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
