    OfferingRelocationAssistance

    Thesuccessful candidatewill:

    • supportmenu development, marketing, catering, and the culinary functionsincluding food allergensafety;
    • ensure that all products andservices provided comply with federal and provincial food labelinglegislation;
    • be the central point ofcontact for all students and families requiring medical dietaryaccommodations, as well as the primary mentor for dietetic internsand undergraduates being trained within diningservices;
    • conduct individualcounseling and group education for all interested dining customers,including athletes/coaches, student groups and academicprograms;
    • partner closely withExecutive Chef and/or caf management in selecting healthy menuitems, evaluating sales and determining what can be offereddifferently, and promoting nutritionalcampaigns;
    • assist with food serviceoperations by conducting special station audits and menuaudits;
    • maintain an active andengaging social mediapresence;
    • serve as a liaison touniversity accommodations office regarding nutrition issues relatedto food allergies, weight management and disordered eating patternsand other medical issues requiring meal selection assistance ormeal plan accommodations;
    • providesupport to University athletics department by giving educationalpresentations and providing one-on-onecounseling;
    • conduct tabling sessionsacross the campus and create regular communications intended tomotivate and engage the population in healthy eatinghabits;
    • remain knowledgeable ofemerging trends in nutrition anddietetics;
    • participate in campus andcommunity events and develop and deliver presentations as needed tosupport client goals;
    • providedirection for planning strategic goals, standards of the brand andmaintaining effective communication with other managers andinter-department liaisons; and/or
    • bewilling to work a flexible schedule including occasional nights andweekends.

    • are aRegistered Dietitian credentialed with CDR and state licensed inMN;
    • have experience in developingand translating health-consciousmenus;
    • are an expert on dietarypreferences and allergies and serve to guide nutritional choicesaccordingly;
    • have excellent verbaland written communication skills with the ability to effectivelycommunicate with stakeholders at alllevels;
    • have the proven ability toeffectively engage, motivate and influence others regarding theirnutrition;
    • have strong presentationskills;
    • have demonstrated ability tomanage competing priorities with the ability to adapt the changingneeds of the role;
    • have a history ofworking independently with little direction;and/or
    • have a commitment tocontinued education in the nutrition field and implementation ofnew and innovative ideas toimplement.
