Our investigative services include financial, internal, and regulatory investigations, asset searches, brand protection, forensic accounting, dispute advisory services, litigation support, business/market entry intelligence, transaction intelligence, proxy contests, intellectual property infringement and product counterfeiting, and regulatory or court-ordered monitorships.


Kroll's FII practice is staffed with a multidisciplinary team of professionals who include former prosecutors, law enforcement officers and journalists, as well as certified public and forensic accountants, data analytics experts, and certified fraud examiners.

RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • As Senior Manager within Kroll's Riyadh FII team you will have responsibility for effectively running a case (or work streams of large cases) through to its closure, from structuring projects, managing resources, presenting findings and providing commercially viable advice to the client.
  • Assist clients in investigating alleged regulatory breaches and instances of a variety of cases covering fraud, bribery and corruption across EMEA.
  • Advise corporate clients in developing and enhancing fraud, sanctions and ABC compliance programs.
  • Assist midtier financial institutions in assessing and improving their fraud or AML/ABC and Sanctions risk management.
  • Fact findings interviews with a range of stakeholders involved in cases.
  • Support the development of the Financial Investigations Practice in the region by identifying new clients and business opportunities and retaining key relationships with existing clients.
  • You will also carry out other activities and projects as required

REQUIREMENTS:


  • Extensive experience of working in a reputable professional or consulting firm is essential.
  • A solid background in conducting investigations on various types of inappropriate activities is required.
Experience in investigating any or all of the following would be highly useful:
corruption, IP theft, conflict of interest, fraud, embezzlement, general wrong-doing, misreporting on financial statements.

  • An accounting or CFA qualification would be ideal but is not essential though you should have a good general understanding of accounting rules and related topics with the ability to pick out accounting anomalies.
  • Commercial understanding of both developed and emerging markets.
  • Managerial level report writing skills.
  • Exceptional presentation and client relationship skills.
  • Proven quantitative, analytical and problemsolving capabilities.
  • Strong understanding of project financials and financial management.
  • Strong commercial acumen and market awareness.
  • Intellectually curious and adept at navigating ambiguity.
  • Willingness to 'roll your sleeves up' and support the team accordingly.
  • Some travel may be required so you will need flexibility in this regard.
  • An interest and willingness to do business development activities will be required.
  • An ability to coach and direct more junior members of staff will also be key.
  • Fluent English is essential. Arabic would be highly advantageous.
