Position Summary


Nespresso is looking for a Trade Area Manager to define and implement the commercial Trade strategy in line with strategic priorities to increase acquisition.


A day in the life of a Trade Manager at Nespresso

  • Drive Key Account Management and build and develop longlasting relationships with Trade & Machine Partners ensuring premium positioning of Nespresso's brand in Trade
  • Develop and execute strong Key Account plans (offline & online) in collaboration with the KAMs to boost acquisition
  • Lead negotiations and review business with all Trade & Machine partners
  • Accelerate conversion from machine to New Club Member, further develop subscription as acquisition & loyalty tool, and grow Vertuo in Trade
  • Lead, drive and develop the Trade Team consisting of KAM's & Area Managers
  • Identify and develop new route to market opportunities and partnerships and accelerate eTrade and pure players
  • Drive the organization's business results by making tactical and operational decisions, you will manage and monitor the Trade investments and drive improvements & efficiencies

What will make you successful

  • Bachelor or master's degree, or equivalent by experience.
  • 57 years' experience in Key Account Management/ National sales Management/ Trade Marketing
  • You speak English fluently with a professional level.
  • People management experience
  • Strong negotiation skills
