_"_Oracle Data Engineer" **to join our project team in Riyadh Saudi Arabia. This is an excellent career opportunity for Experienced professional talents, looking to join a truly international team.


The objective is to deliver a Best Practice Information Framework for the Riyadh Metro Project, which contains all the essential and required information for Metro operation and maintenance, such as failure and alarm messages, event data, and Life Cycle Maintenance information for the Metro systems.


The delivered operations and maintenance information need to be divided in logical structures (information), enabling the creation of Business Intelligence Reports and Oracle Data Integrator maps.


The result of the Solution Design and all related criteria will be known as a product named as consolidated Oracle Database solution.


Specific mission:

Installation, Testing & Commissioning, and troubleshooting activity of the 2 redundant Database cabinets, including setting up and testing all the interfaces with the Metro systems up to the Business Intelligence Reports generation.


Measurement of success

  • Testing and commissioning is done in time and according to customer requirements.
  • Thirdparty supplier satisfaction in terms of response time and facilitation of their online and onsite work.
  • Business Intelligence Reports are generated properly.
  • Success of trial run phase.
  • Low remaining punch list after start of Revenue Service

Responsibilities

  • Design of Oracle Business Intelligence and Oracle Data Integrator,
  • Management of the site tests of each interface as per the T&C procedures, including test report issuance,
  • Creation of user manuals and to make the training to the Operator
  • Work closely with various teams and lead the Oracle Database Solution integration activities,
  • Make sure that the adequate priorities of the testing activity are maintain,
  • Support the network administration,
  • Execution of validation and verification of received data from each interface partner (Oracle Database and Microsoft SQL server),
  • The creation and the assignment of the action plans corresponding to the malfunctions of the equipment (Managing NCR and regression tests)
  • Troubleshoot and root cause analysis,
  • Identify & implement any improvement to data systems,
  • Relation with customer and other contractors, under the authority of the Delivery Manager, for all the aspects concerning the test systems.

Knowledge / Qualification

  • Oracle: ODI, OBI, OEM, OVM, OSM knowledge (Configuration, connection test and troubleshooting)
  • VMware ESXI, Linux Centos and OS installation are assets.
  • IT data analyst engineering education or experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial IT environment.
  • Broad Knowledge of IT database systems and reporting systems, including hardware aspects.
  • Knowledge of network administration including firewalls testing.
  • Interface server installation, integration and test to the production environment
  • Capacity to work in team, Critical Faculty, Analysis / Syntheses.
  • Ability to maintain daily data communication transactions, analyse data inconsistency.
  • Ability to analyse software and system error and implement proper configurations.
  • Knowledge of Data Architecture and Data Modelling
  • Knowledge of ETL, ELT process.
  • Leadership, initiative and decision minded
  • Team spirit approach and good communication skills
  • Speak, read and write English (business/proficient level is required)

  • Performs mainly predefined, technical tasks (for example, basic commissioning of products and systems, integration of components to a system, basic engineering, maintenance jobs) and work packages onsite and remotely.
  • Supports customer remotely and onsite and provides 2nd and 3rd level user support in case of arising issues.
  • Coordinates and accomplishes defined service operations and/or resolves product issues for customers equipment.
  • Supports in generating sales leads for predefined service offers and contributes to planning activities.
  • Adheres to defined processes and applicable regulations.
  • Participates in the assessment of complex product/equipment performance based on field support data and recommends modifications or improvements.
  • Performs commissioning, fault findings and maintenance works.
