Automation Engineer Job Qualification

Responsibilities:

• Prepare software and hardware design documents for review by project team leader/Senior engineer.
• Undertake the testing of software and hardware including all internal, workshop, factory acceptance and site acceptance testing.
• Prepares technical reports and documentation of the results that include panel drawings, test protocols, SCADA/ instrumentation Point list/Module data Checklist.
• Manage and execute precommissioning and site commissioning.
• Manage and execute Automation/SCADA/ instrumentation projects ensuring they are on budget and on time;
• Responsible for the safe and efficient completion of the assigned project, according to company standards;
• Responsible for job preparation, including but not limited to, test equipment organization, and the completion of the report in a timely manner;
• Analyze customer problems, resolve, and close customer complaints as per assignment from team leader.
• Provide customer support during warranty periods.
• Responsible to providing technical services to Maintenance and Operations team
• Project reporting to the technical Project management.
• Must be capable of developing nextgeneration Industrial control system platforms and automation solutions.
• Prepare and submit quotes as they arise;
• Provide mentoring and transfer knowledge, skills and experience to entry level engineers and designers
• Represent company to client, and demonstrate client commitment and loyalty;
• Responsible to follow EHS guidelines.

• Travel all over the kingdom for participation in commissioning activities

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in electrical, Electronics and mechatronics engineering
• 35 years' Experience as automation engineer for SIEMENS Schneider Rockwell Automation Omron,.
• Knowledge of different protocol and Networking in automation system.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity in automation system.
• Having a knowledge of programming and scripting
• Written and spoken English language
• Personal skills
• Substation control and monitoring system design and parameterization
• Human Machine Interface / SCADA Parameterization
• BCU and Protection digital relay parameterization for Medium and High Voltage IEDs
• Substation control and monitoring system commissioning including conduction of functional performance, Factory Acceptance test and Site Acceptance test with witness
• Prepares technical reports and documentation of the results that include panel drawings, test protocols, SCADA Point list/Module data Checklist.
• Project reporting to the technical Project management.
• Responsible to follow EHS guidelines.
• Update with end user technical standards and regulations

Your Qualifications And Skills - Digital And Solid

• Bachelor's Degree in electrical engineering
• 35 years' Experience as SAS engineer for SIEMENS substation automation system SICAM PAS, SICAM SCC, SIMATIC Wincc, SICAM A8000.
• Certification of SIEMENS SICAM PAS, SICAM SCC, SIMATIC Wincc, SICAM A8000is an advantage
• Knowledge of different protocol in automation system such as IEC 61850.Modbus, IEC , IEC , IEC , IEC
• Knowledge of Networking in automation system. IEC
• Knowledge of cybersecurity in automation system.
• Knowledge of nonSIEMENS SAS systems is an advantage
• Having a knowledge of programming and scripting
• Written and spoken English language
• Personal skills
