Job Purpose:


Organize and supervise the procedures of financial control to ensure the completeness and accuracy of all financial transactions and their compliance with regulations and authorities and ensure following financial standards and hospital's financial policies and procedures.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:


  • Develop the financial control section plan and objectives in accordance with the financial affairs executive department objectives.
  • Review the financial records and evaluate the financial operating systems to ensure they follow the policies and procedures.
  • Revise the replies to the financial auditor inquires and followup on the work with external auditors and the concerned parties.
  • Ensure the recording and posting all expenses to the approved budget items, and contracts and projects to the appropriate items.
  • Ensure the correctness and completeness of the processes of revenues recording.
  • Followup on the process of cash counting.
  • Review the financial and accounting periodic reports and ensure they are suitable to the decision makers' requirements.
  • Review the reports of results and recommendations on audited issues, and submit it to the director of financial control.
  • Participate in knowledge transfer to section employees.
  • Evaluate the work procedures to determine the efficiency and effectiveness of the sections processes, and submit suggestions for developing it.
  • Distribute tasks and duties, and assign employees to different responsibilities, and followup on schedule
  • Review the periodic reports related to financial control section and submit them to the director of financial control.
  • Evaluate the performance of subordinates and recommend necessary actions.
  • Ensure that all employees follow all hospital's financial policies and procedures.
  • Respects patients and their families to promote a patientcentered care culture.
  • Participates in and supports quality improvement and patient safety activities as an individual or as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Performs other related duties as required.

Minimum or Required:

  • Bachelor Degree in Accountancy or Financial Management. With 9 years of Experience.
  • Holding a certified accountant certificate is preferable (CPA / CMA / CA).

Preferred:
Master Degree in Accountancy or Financial Management. With 7 years of Experience.
