Job Description:

• Develop, design, and deliver handson practical and theory culinary arts classes and workshops to participants using the developed curriculum
• Develop daily lesson plans and instructional plans to meet course competency
• Scout for startups/chefs and handle filtration
• Develop creative instructional methods to engage participants in learning process
• Develop, design, deliver, and co deliver short courses/programs, intensive programs, and diploma programs as needed.
• Create and execute concepts for different cuisine including international and Saudi cuisine
• Guide and assist participants to develop popup concepts and execute them
• Develop instruction materials and handouts for participants and faculty
• Administer practical tests
• Document and report each participant's ability to comprehend, perform, and retain practical techniques
• Work oneonone with participants to ensure comprehension of lessons and information
• Oversee the various setup, and cleanup needed for lessons and guest chef presentations
• Prepare daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports to client and top management
• Oversee and supervise good's, food, supplies budget, and maintain inventory

Other Responsibilities

• Participate in, and support, special events including cooking demonstrations
• Support, as needed, Kitchens for good's daytoday food production
• Develop and teach the curriculum
• Lead lectures and handson sessions
• Grade participants on their performance
• Assign cooking projects and written assessments
• Advise participants on their future careers
• Provide personal and professional guidance to participants when needed
• Maintain participants' attendance and grade records and report the Project Manager
• Evaluate each participant's performance and provide feedback appropriately
• Ensure that participants follow disciplinary and behavioural participants in the kitchen/ premises
• Develop cohesive, safe and positive learning environment for participants
• Attend staff meetings and communicate budget needs to management
• Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed
• Represent the company on internal and external committees/organizations
• Support other team members as needed and when required
• Additional may be given as needed and when needed

Additional Information

• Experience as an instructor with a culinary program
• 46 years of relevant industry experience at a chef level or higher, with related management experience
• Culinary Arts degree and/or Associates Degree with culinary or hospitality focus (minimum requirement)
• Experience in large scale production facility or institutional food service setting
• A high degree of technical ability to relay information in a manner that provides a positive learning experience and instills a passion for the profession
• Administrative and technology skills adequate to build course materials
• Ability to demonstrate concern and sensitivity toward culinary trainees and their individual needs and learning styles
• Passion for healthy cooking and nutrition education
