What We Need:


Oivan is looking for a
Senior Frontend Developer with at least 5 years of experience in Angular 13, CSS/HTML markup and JavaScript to join our engineering team to design and develop an innovative product.

Based in our office located in Riyadh office, you'll support our 220+ headcount workforce across 5 countries.

Oivan's official language is English and fluency is necessary for success on the job.

It would be a plus if you speak Arabic, this is a preferable trait to communicate and build strong rapport locally with our clients.

What You'll Do:


We offer you the unique opportunity to work and improve your skills with a diverse and geographically distributed team of technology and business experts around the world.

We use micro-services architecture to scale and diversify our customer product as their strategic partner.

You will get to work on a life-changing product and execute the following responsibilities:


  • Architect brandnew software solutions to fulfil project requirements.
  • Create, design, and implement layouts for new and existing web pages.
  • Create and maintain database designs for data storage and processing, including testing and debugging software to keep it optimised.
  • Collaborate with a team of developers and product managers. You'll be working closely with our backend developers to understand and properly use the systems APIs.
  • Maintain legacy code written by other developers, including bug fixes.
  • Integrate external software libraries and APIs into existing projects.
  • Write both unit and integration tests, and develop automation tools for daily tasks

What You've Got:

Our main technology stack includes Angular on the frontend and Ruby on Rails on the backend.

Otherwise we prefer you to have:

  • Technical university education preferred with experience working with web development.
  • Excellent knowledge of frontend web programming languages, such as HTML, CSS, BootStrap, JavaScript, and Angular13, with ability to render serverside and clientside content.
  • Experience with common web development tools and services, such as version control software (Git), package managers, CI/CD pipelines, lifecycle hooks, HttpClient, RouterModule, Lazyloading, Resolve and Decorators.
  • A good understanding of relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to clearly express your reasoning.
  • Familiarity with common programming design patterns including the use of RESTful APIs.
  • Some familiarity with newer specifications of Angular, testing frameworks and authorisation: CLI, RxJS, Cypress, ESLint, Prettier, Jasmine testing framework, NPM, Sentry, API, ECMAScript, and OAuth 2.0
