    D&R KSA is seeking a qualifiedElectrical Engineer who will play a pivotal role in ensuring thesuccessful production of electrical shop drawings for variouscomponents of the project including buildings landscape elementsinfrastructure and underground utilities.

    Thisengineer will be at the forefront of utilizing Building InformationModeling (BIM) technologies to develop and coordinate theElectrical aspects of the project in addition to performingcalculations design gap analysis and designdevelopment.

    KeyRequirements:

    • EducationalBackground: The candidate must hold a Bachelors orMasters degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Aprofessional engineering license ispreferred.
    • Experience:A minimum of 8 years of experience in electricalengineering with at least 5 years in a leadership or supervisoryrole specifically in producing electrical shop drawings using BIMmethodologies.
    • TeamLeadership: Demonstrated experience in leading andmanaging a team of professionals including electrical engineers BIMcoordinators BIM modelers anddraftsmen.
    • DesignSkills: Strong design skills with the ability toperform design gap analysis and contribute to the designdevelopmentprocess.
    • Calculations:Proficiency in electrical calculations especially as they relate tolighting power distribution andinfrastructure.
    • Communication:Excellent verbal and written communication skills including theability to effectively report to the Project Manager and ProjectTechnical Manager.
    • QualityAssurance: A keen eye for detail and a commitment todelivering highquality work that adheres to project standards andindustry bestpractices
    • RegulatoryCompliance: Familiarity with local and internationalelectrical codes and regulations particularly those relevant toelectrical systems in SaudiArabia.
    • BIM Knowledge:good knowledge in BIM software such as Revit Civil3D BIM 360 Autodesk Construction Cloud and other relevant tools isessential.

    KeyResponsibilities:

    Asthe Electrical Engineer who will lead the production of ShopDrawings in the construction phase you will be responsible for thefollowing:

    • ElectricalShop Drawings: Oversee the production of electricalshop drawings for all project components ensuring accuracy andcompliance with designspecifications.
    • TeamLeadership: Lead a team of electrical engineers BIMcoordinators BIM modelers and draftsmen providing guidancementorship and ensuring the teams productivity andperformance.
    • DesignAnalysis: Perform design gap analysis identifyingdiscrepancies and proposing solutions to align the design withproject requirements.
    • DesignDevelopment: Contribute to the design developmentprocess by providing valuable insights and recommendations relatedto electricalsystems.
    • Calculations:Conduct electrical calculations to validate designdecisions and ensure system performance andefficiency.
    • RegulatoryCompliance: Ensure that all electrical designs andshop drawings comply with local and international electrical codesandregulations.
    • Collaboration:Collaborate closely with other engineering disciplines architectsand project stakeholders to coordinate electrical systems withinthe overall project.
    • Reporting:Provide regular progress reports to the ProjectManager and Project Technical Manager highlighting key achievementschallenges andrecommendations.
    • BIMWorkflow: being able to work within a well definedBIM workflow for electrical engineering utilizing software such asRevit Civil 3D BIM 360 and Autodesk ConstructionCloud.

    TheElectrical Engineer (Shop Drawings Lead) will play a critical rolein the successful execution of our mega giga projects contributingto the quality efficiency and overall success. This position offersan opportunity to work on landmark projects in Riyadh Saudi Arabiaand make a lasting impact.
