A global consultancy is looking for a Manager to join its expanding ESG and Decarbonisation team.

You will provide support to your clients with in-depth and practical knowledge, ensuring they can navigate challenges and risks associated with evolving ESG issues and frameworks.

Role

  • Engage and manage a multidisciplinary team of experts across industries to assist clients in better understanding and developing solutions to respond to the constantly evolving regulatory, policy and business environment risks.
  • Analyse corporate activities and provide your recommendations to strengthen sustainability/ESG strategy, methods, framework, and related tools to support clients in achieving their sustainability/ ESG objectives.
  • Manage the review and development of sustainability/ESG programs and related reporting. This will include but is not limited to; stakeholder engagement, peer benchmarking, gap analysis, materiality assessments, KPI identification (in alignment with relevant reporting standards e.g. GRI), and the preparation of reporting materials.
  • Engage in business development, drafting thought leadership, as well as internal collateral and internal training on sustainability and ESG topics; working closely, but independently, under the direction of team leadership.
  • Support clients with their ESG digital transformation
  • Overall management of projects, ensuring quality and liaising with internal and external stakeholders and manage budgets.
  • Support junior team members in developing new skills, monitor their performance and career development.
  • Confident in public speaking, including the ability to lead client conversations and present at client workshops.
  • Ability to quickly learn concepts outside of your area of expertise.

Required Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field e.g. engineering, energy, ESG, sustainability
  • Preexisting understanding of the global, regional, and local ESG/Sustainability directives and regulations; TCFD, TNFD, SBTi and more
  • Knowledge of EHS Management Systems; Social Return on Investment (SROI) or equivalent; Social & Environmental Impact Assessment and Digital Transformation
  • 7+ years' experience, preferably in a large global consultancy
