Catastrophic Coronavirus

With the spread of catastrophic coronavirus in more than 100 countries and territories, almost, all the countries are taking precautionary measures and doing their best to curb the spread of virus. 

East to West and North to South, the whole world itself is heavily burdened with saddening chronicles. Every minute, on the world news channels and popular media platforms, we’ll find shocking statistics that speak about spiraling infections and rising deaths.

Everywhere, it’s panicky news. International travel agendas are postponed. Cultural events and festivals are cancelled. It’s disaster everywhere, and the Almighty Lord Knows how long this sickening, deadly disease will prevail. Thousands of people, across the world, have been diseased.

People have become health conscious. No one wants to take leisure trips or travel to anywhere. The apparent drop in travel and hotels occupancy means huge losses for airlines and tourism sectors. It’s a huge blow to every business, and nothing is imaginable. Sooner or later, the global economic engine will show up its facts and figures. What would be the repercussions? Nothing is predictable.

What a contagion without borders! Many countries have taken decisions to lock down their own boundaries and put restrictions on domestic and international travel. Business interests are temporarily paused, and every infected region is facing an emergency. Now, the foremost concern is health and safety of people. Every hour, every day, there’re virus updates. 

Ah, this coronavirus outbreak has devastated the whole world. With the spread of virus and spread of inevitable fears, most of the countries are enveloped in economic turmoil because businesses are getting hampered, travel bans are imposed, movements have been restricted, deals are either halted or deferred until further notice.

In what ways this fatal coronavirus will churn the fate of humankind? Only the Almighty Lord Knows. It’s like the entire regions of the world, health bureaus and mechanisms have become shaky. It’s not a single country crisis, but it’s a global calamity. There’re growing concerns everywhere. Fears of getting disconnected from families, fears of losing businesses and jobs, fears of straining health and fears of postponement of academic sessions and examinations.

From one country to another country, the deadly coronavirus has diffused so fast. Every affected region is in a state of quarantine. The whole world is, now, at risk of becoming a village of infection. With the widespread alarming and distressing news everywhere, it’s looks like a global combat against the fatal coronavirus.

Perhaps, more than thinking about the financial damages, it’s time to implement measures for the health and safety of people. Be it travel restrictions, closure of educational institutions, blockage of events and gatherings or lockdown of regions in an extensive action to fight the outbreak.

In a simple dictum ‘Prevention is better than cure’, there’s worthwhile wisdom. We all need to have awareness programs how coronavirus spreads. We need to know what are the compulsory measures and how can we be hygienic and safe.
