It’s summer hot, too hot…
With humid mornings, we start our days. A little observance, and lo! We will find plenty of stories in every summer.
This year, again, it’s summer hot—too hot in the beginning showing towering barometer readings—and as the summer readies itself for the peak, a spontaneous thought comes: Will the summer of this year going to be a very hot one? Verily, the Almighty Lord Knows Alone.
We get into air conditioned cars, with black goggles or sun glasses, but to calm down to cool conditioned air, we still need some time. Oops, wiping those sweat drops from our foreheads and faces, we feel why this sweltering summer heat? Troubled with season’s passing blows, we become impatient. Sometimes, we feel to boycott the corporate dress code, with stiffening tight collars or neck ties that seems an additional suffering in a humid weather. Ah, this passing summer and our strange fantasies…
Whew! Even the weather forecast speaks of heat and humidity in the coming days, and the daily weather reports show accelerating heat indices. On every passing day, we notice fluctuating temperatures.
Sometimes, heat waves baffle our brains—in a year, we only see the sequence of two seasons: the one, with heat and scanty rain or no rain at all, and the other, summer hot, with record heat and humidity.
Ah, when we notice those workers from the lower ranks, who work without air conditioned workplaces, people who move around on work errands sweating their bodies, under scorching sun, and in tough and humid summer, then those working in a spacious, air conditioned offices and cubicles are better, fortunate and least troubled.
Shouldn’t these people, from upper echelon, who stay cool escaping the summer heat and heat strokes, be grateful, by lessoning themselves how those poor sweating workers toil their way, tolerating dreadful hot weather of hot summers?
Shouldn’t we ponder that there’s wisdom of the Almighty Lord Who flips season after season in a proportionate way? And the Nature is the finest mastery of the Almighty Lord. When we feel invincible summer, our better deeds are those that speak of our humble orisons for summer rain—at least gracious rain may cool our surroundings and give us a timely relief.

I know a few people who've worked in Saudi Arabia and they did say the heat was brutal. I guess some people acclimate to it. I would melt [insert laughter]

I do understand your preferences and choice of places to enjoy tolerable heat or escape from anything in excess. But, typically, here in Saudi Arabia, oftentimes it's sweltering summer. :(

O, good to hear that you are blessed with cool showers. Sometimes, rain hinders your activity and plans, and that's petty different story. With the cool showers, the best thing is one can sense the shift in attitude and atmosphere. Isn't that pleasant? :)
