    Job Title:PetroleumEngineer

    ReportsTo: Senior Petroleum EngineerManager

    JobSummary: As a Petroleum Engineer at Aramco you will beresponsible for leading and executing comprehensive studies invarious areas of Petroleum Engineering providing technical guidanceand contributing to operational improvements and policydevelopment. This role requires a seasoned expert with a deepunderstanding of production engineering in the upstream oil and gasindustry.


    Requirements

    KeyDuties andResponsibilities:

    • StrategicDevelopment and Coordination: Develop and coordinatemajor studies based on managements objectives including initiatingand directing technical work and presenting findings to Managementand Owner Company technicalpersonnel.
    • TechnicalConsulting: Serve as a technical consultant to Managementand engineering teams offering guidance on budget studiesdevelopment programs reservoir studies equipment purchases andmore.
    • Operational Reviewand Reporting: Review the performance of Aramco PetroleumEngineering and Oil Operations activities reporting on efficiencyand recommending improvements or newdirections.
    • Policy andProcedure Consultation: Prepare policy recommendationsconcerning data and information scope provided to the Saudi ArabianGovernment and externalagencies.
    • Research andTechnological Advancements: Stay updated on globalengineering and operational advancements recommending technologiesthat can enhance Aramco soperations.
    • Team Leadershipand Training: Review the work of engineers on projectsassist in training new engineering personnel and ensure theprofessional development of theteam.
    MinimumRequirements:
    • Education:Bachelor s degree in Petroleum Engineering or a relatedfield.
    • Experience:Minimum of 7 years as a production engineer in the upstream oil andgasindustry.

    TechnicalSkills:
    • Proficientin PE software applications (e.g. flow simulation tubing movementnodalanalysis).
    • Experiencedin electric submersible pump design installation andtroubleshooting.
    • Wellintegrity diagnosis including corrosion logginganalysis.
    • Productionoptimization stimulation and fracturingtreatments.
    • Oilwater and gas scale prevention andtreatment.
    • Wellinterventions design and execution for both oil and gaswells.

    Communication:Excellent verbal and written communication skills; capable ofmaking technical presentations and writing detailedreports
