- Conduct quality assurance checks on all Internal Controls deliverables, including risk and controls matrices and deficiency logs, to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Collaborate closely with Internal Controls Streams (Operational, Financial, and IT) to create reporting dashboards, highlight the progress on designing and implementing internal controls across business units, sectors, and subsidiaries, for the Executive Committee and Audit, Risk, and Compliance Committee.
- Prepare detailed and timely reports and dashboards for senior management and stakeholders, summarizing the results of operating effectiveness testing, deficiencies, conclusions, and management action plans.
- Maintain accurate records of control design and control testing using the eGRC platform and SharePoint.
- Ensure compliance with quality and documentation standards, as well as regulatory requirements.
- Ability to work as a procurement key user responsible to handle end to end procure to pay cycle for Internal Controls domain, thus, understanding of procurement process would be advantageous.
- Planning and execution of all stages of Internal Controls Framework (ICF) implementation (i.e., control design assessment, deficiency remediation, controls testing, continuous monitoring).
- Upon management's request, conduct comprehensive reviews of operational processes to identify controls deficiencies, opportunity for optimization and controls automation.
- Assist in the development and implementation of control frameworks and best practices.
- Collaborate with teams within GRC as well as various other departments and sectors (Energy & Water, Port Management, Legal, Procurement, Marketing, ESG, etc.) to ensure alignment on GRC's reporting objectives.
- Provide support on developing control awareness training for key stakeholders within NEOM to ensure a strong internal control structure is embedded within NEOM.
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in internal controls, risk management, consulting, or / and compliance field in a multi-faceted organization or professional services firm.
- Good understanding of internal controls and risk management is preferable.
- Ability to use PowerBI, Tableau or other tools for dashboarding.
- Advanced skills in creating, structuring, and formatting reports and presentations.
- Ability to understand controls documentation to extract relevant reporting information.
- User-level knowledge of Microsoft Office and of ERPs such as SAP, Oracle, etc.
- Previous experience of using GRC, audit and risk management software/tools such as Enablon, Bwise, TeamMate, or similar.
- Advanced skills in report-writing techniques and styles.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Project and time management skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Minimum a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field from an accredited university. A postgraduate degree would be an advantage.
