- Responsible for execution of activities related to indirect tax compliance and other indirect tax advisory matters in the tax reporting team as per tax laws and regulations in KSA

- Days of delay from timelines mandated by ZATCA (Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority) on submitted tax returns (WHT and VAT)
- Researching KSA and/or indirect tax regulations on a timely basis
- Supporting Tax Manager/NEOM tax team in completing deliverables on a timely basis in respect key indirect tax compliance and other VAT advisory matters
- Demonstrates appropriate competence in relation to NEOM Values
- Researching indirect tax laws and raise flags for any changes or updates in the indirect laws in the KSA
- Advice on VAT and Zakat matters that impact underlying tax compliance and advisory matters
- Assisting in Audits and preparing quarterly and annual tax compliance requirements as per KSA VAT laws and regulations
- Audit and report compliance gaps with internal and regulatory deadlines with the NEOM tax management
- Where required, undertake necessary VAT reconciliations and other tax accounting work for purposes of completing monthly reporting obligations
- Assist with special projects, ad hoc analysis, and other requests from management relating to indirect tax and support the broader NEOM group from VAT perspective
- Review and ensure that the VAT tax returns are filed in accordance with the applicable requirements as set out by the relevant tax authority
- 5 or more years' experience in taxation working in a Big Four, real estate/construction company and/or in a similar field
- Demonstrated knowledge of indirect tax in respect of compliance and advisory matters
- Working knowledge of corporate tax and zakat laws
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly with MS Excel
- Previous experience with SAP is a plus
- Graduation degree/diploma or equivalent in financial and management accounting and/or Finance and/or Law
