IT Database Systems Engineer JobsIn Saudi Arabia Gategroup

Job Responsibilities:
Technicalresponsibility of Database administrative services. Administer andmaintain Oracle MSSQL PostgreSQL and RDS IaaS and PaaS databasesrunning on AWS/Azure Cloud. Support complex and businesscriticaltechnical projects implementing inhouse and customerfacingsolutions in the catering and onboard retail domain. Routinemaintenance including problem defect analysis and resolution spacestorage object management physical database layout rollback segmentmanagement and temporary space management. Provide patch managementand distribution capabilities to prevent new threats with minimizedphysical infrastructure impact. Create and test data backups.
Provide data cleansing services verifies data integrity andimplement access controls. Support System development Migration andIntegration efforts as needed. Plan and respond to service outagesincluding backup and restore. Assist developers of data exposureservices with the engagement of the various databases. Performdatabase configuration monitoring and tuning. Train Servicedesk& support engineers on simple incident resolutions.
Coordinate with vendors and support teams on problem resolutiondesign issues and upgrades.

Job Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in information technology or equivalent. Deepunderstanding of Oracle Oracle ASM Cluster MSSQL MS SQLAlways On PostgreSQL and AWS RDS is a must. Experience ininstallation and support of Oracle RAC Super Cluster and and 12c databases. Experience upgrading Oracle and MSSQL databases.
Understanding of database technologies and associated architecturalconsiderations. Knowledge of ITIL v3/v4 processes. Expert highlevelknowledge of legacy and emerging technologies landscape.
Understanding of key infrastructure technologies and associatedarchitectural considerations. Experience transforming classicalmiddleware architectures to modern cloudnative environments.#J18808Ljbffr
