    A top health company in Plano, TX is seeking a talented Senior Accountant to join their dynamic finance team through Precise Technical Staffing. If you are a Senior Accountant who values a collaborative work environment, this role might be for you

    As a member of an empowered accounting team, you will be responsible for various accounting tasks, including:
    • Record and review monthly revenue and accounts receivable journal entries.
    • Reconcile accounts receivable balances and resolve discrepancies.
    • Administer Practice Management Systems, including setup for new Provider IDs.
    • Prepare month-end accruals for lab supplies and doctor compensation.
    • Execute month-end journal entries and account reconciliations.
    • Analyze P&L trends, identify variances, and prepare related journal entries.
    • Integrate newly acquired locations into the back office.
    • Contribute to the month, quarter-end, and year-end close process.
    • Support the development and maintenance of accounting policies and procedures.
    • Perform ad-hoc projects as needed.



    Requirements

    To excel in this role, you should have the following skills and experiences:
    • Proficiency in Excel.
    • Knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls.
    • Strong team player mentality and customer-focused.
    • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
    • Analytical mindset with a high attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Bachelors degree in Accounting.
    • 5+ years of general ledger accounting experience.
    • Advanced computer skills, including Excel, Word, SharePoint, and automated accounting systems.
