    ROLE DESCRIPTION

    As aBusiness Development Manager you will concentrate exclusively onformulating and executing a business development strategy resultingin revenue growth and new customer acquisition. Essential part ofyour role will be to gain acceptance from the customer thatClearSkies products add value to the customer and is the rightchoice over other competitive offerings. The ideal candidate isfocused on client success through collaboration and buildingtrusted relationships. Youre a strategic thinker who can balancethe delivery of nearterm client needs with longterm businessobjectives.

    MAINRESPONSIBILITIES

    STRATEGY IMPLEMENTATION &PLANNING:

    • Strategyimplementation and planning based on targets agreed with themanagement as per area of operations. Regularly reporting ontargets achievement and relevant actions taken to linemanager
    • Customer targeting and monitoring perchannelpartner

    Business Development:

    • Havethe ownership for all businessrelated matters e.g. recruitment ofchannel partners submission of proposals identification of newopportunities followup and feedback on revenue pipeline proposalstatus update
    • Marketing activities and eventsrecommendations for participation within the region(s) ofresponsibility
    • Presentation of Odysseysservices to potential channelpartners
    • Preparations of cooperation agreementsand contract signing with channel partners
    • Seekmarket opportunities and coordinate with channel partners to pursueand materialize the opportunities
    • Channelpartner visiting motivating and performancemonitoring
    • Overseeing implementation ofoperational procedures by channelpartners
    • Market trends customer requirementsand competition behaviour monitoring andreporting

    Support:

    • Support channelpartners during presentations and helping in understanding scope ofwork
    • Be familiar with Odysseys services andorganize coaching and training to channel partners to improveskills and capacity in coordination with other resources withinOdyssey
    • Training of channel partners in thepreparation of quotations and application ofprocedures
    • KPls reporting based on contractswon proposals submitted channel partners recruited pipelinecollections
    • Problem solving for endcustomersand channelpartners

    Other Responsibilities:

    • Ensures high levelof professionalism while constantly working on strengtheningOdysseys reputation
    • Attends and participates inperiodic meetings in support of aboveactivities
    • Execute other role related tasksassigned byOdyssey

    KNOWLEGDESKILLS AND EXPERIENCEREQUIRED

    • 3 yearsexperience in business development sales or consultancy within theIT or ideally with the Cyber SecuritySector
    • Proven track record in Sales achievementand establishing a new business
    • Experience inBusiness Development for Cyber Security Products such as FirewallsWeb Application Firewalls Endpoint Protection SIEM MSS/SOC NOCetc.
    • Proven track record in prospectingqualifying and engaging with potential partners andclients
    • Account planning & handlingexperience
    • Excellent understanding of softwaredevelopment and technology as a whole
    • Superiorvolume of relationships in the Information Security communitywithin the assigned region
    • Strong technical andnontechnical communication skills including verbal analytical andinterpersonal skills
    • Excellent presentationskills to executives & individualcontributors
    • Comfortable working independentlywith little direction under tightdeadlines
