    General Description of Role andResponsibilities:

    • Development of the Projects health safety andEnvironmental Policies and Objectives.
    • Development of health safety and Environmental keyimplementation strategies.
    • Development andimplementation of Project health safety and Environmental Manualsand/or health safety and Environmental Plans (asapplicable).
    • Development and implementation ofhealth safety and Environmental Training and Orientationprograms.
    • Development of specific healthsafety and Environmental Work Instructions as needed.
    • Development of health safety and Environmental SystemDocument Register.
    • Development andimplementation of the Nonconformance Corrective and PreventiveAction process.
    • Development and implementationof health safety and Environmental auditing processes (involvingassessment of all project groups).
    • Developmentof health safety and Environmental Roles and Responsibilities (partof health safety and Environmental Plans).
    • Provides Code interpretation to team members if/whenneeded.
    • Develops requirements for healthsafety and Environmental statistics reporting (metrics).
    • Develops health safety and Environmental DeliverablesMatrix.
    • Provides input as required to requestsfor information from suppliers/contractors.
    • Provides input as required to technical deviationrequests from suppliers/contractors.
    • Developsminimum health safety and Environmental requirements forSuppliers/Contractors.
    • Collaborates on thedevelopment of the Supplier/Contractor QualificationProcess.
    • Participates in onsite assessment ofprospective suppliers/contractors.
    • Providesinput to the development and continuous updating of the ApprovedSuppliers List.
    • Provides input as required todevelop Equipment Criticality Ratings to determine inspection andtesting requirements.
    • Reviews TechnicalRequisitions/RFQ/POs.
    • Develops and implementshealth safety and environmental strategy and processes.
    • Reviews/comments/tracks health safety and Environmentaldeliverable submittals.
    • Selects health safetyand Environmental agencies/individuals to represent the company atfabrication/manufacturing facilities.
    • Providesrandom oversight to health safety and environmental representativesat points of equipment manufacture.
    • Promotionof health safety and environmental awareness throughout theorganization.
    • Responsible for assessingworkload developing staffing plans and recruiting health safety andEnvironmental team members when needed.
    • Providing direction to all health safety andEnvironmental Personnel.
    • Promotion of healthsafety and environmental awareness to subordinates.
    • Liaises closely with Document Management Group to ensurethe progressive assembly of project health safety and environmentaldocumentation.
    • Collaborates with SystemsCompletion/Turnover function for health safety and environmentaldocumentation requirements.
    • Develops andimplements a Lessons Learned capture process.
    • Informs themselves of the relevant Quality EnvironmentalSafety and Occupational Health Policies Manuals and Procedureswithin Hill International and ensures continued compliance withthese requirements while employed by Hill.
    • Perform other duties as assigned by the linemanager/supervisor.

    QualificationsExperience Knowledge and Skills:

    • Bachelor of SafetyEngineering or equivalent.
    • A minimum of 13years of construction experience with progressively moreresponsibility with respect to HSE Management with experience onMegaprojects.
    • Indepth knowledge of healthsafety and environmental auditingtechniques
    • Demonstrated ability to set goalsand organize resources.
    • Strong interpersonaland communication skills.
    • Ability to work withpeople of diverse disciplines backgrounds andcultures.
    • Ability to be flexible and to adaptto changing circumstances.
    • Ability to meetdeadlines be a selfstarter and be a quicklearner.
