    Title:
    Senior Planning Manager

    The Senior Planning Manager plays a key role in overseeing a portfolio of Programs, Districts, Mega Projects, and Projects. They are responsible for managing all aspects of Planning & Scheduling to drive and achieve goals within scope, budget, time, quality, and risk management constraints.

    The role requires a strong understanding of Project Management principles, exceptional leadership skills, and in-depth knowledge of Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) processes. Collaboration with key stakeholders at various levels is essential in the KBR delivery environment.

    Reporting to the Project Controls Director, the Senior Planning Manager is accountable for Planning & Scheduling, ensuring success factors are always exceeded through collaboration with internal and external teams.

    Project Description

    The Diriyah Gate II (DII) project in Riyadh is a major infrastructure program and mixed-use development aiming to be a global landmark. KBR provides Project Management Consultancy Services for this project.


    Responsibilities
    • Lead and manage the DII KBR PMC1 Planning and Scheduling Team.
    • Define and maintain Planning and Scheduling frameworks and standards.
    • Provide guidance and mentoring to the team, ensuring high performance and continuous development.
    • Ensure quality and timeliness of scheduling work.
    • Offer expertise on various scheduling aspects to Senior Leaders.
    • Implement and manage Planning and Scheduling strategies aligned with objectives.

    Technical Skills

    • Expertise in developing and managing Planning and Scheduling systems.
    • Knowledge of Project Management tools and software.
    • Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
    • Organizational and time management abilities.
    • Understanding of industry standards and best practices.

    Experience, Skills and Knowledge Requirements

    Essential:
    • Degree level professional qualification in Project Management or Engineering.
    • Minimum 15 years of relevant Planning and Scheduling experience.
    • Experience in delivering complex Projects in the EPC industry.
    • Membership of a Professional Institute.
    • Proficiency in English.
    • Commitment to continuous learning and development.

    Desirable:

    • Arabic language skills.
