    PositionOverview

    Based at BanoPuratos inSaudi Arabia we are currently seekinga:

    Senior Procurement Officer(Riyadh)

    • Monitor andassess supplier performance against KPIs taking necessary actionsto address any issues and improve overall supplierperformance.
    • Identify potential supply chainrisks and establish contingency plans to ensure businesscontinuity.
    • Continuously identify costsavingopportunities and drive efficiency in procurementprocesses.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatoryand ethical standards in all procurement activities includingadherence to internal policies andprocedures.

    KeyAccountabilities

    • Supportthe Procurement Manager in conducting strategic plan for thedepartment.
    • Prepare stock analysis reporttaking into consideration movement of items and feedback from SalesManagers and submit it to the Procurement Manager on a timelymanner.
    • Coordinate requisition process byreviewing the submitted forms and quotations issue purchase ordersand other documents related to the procurementfunction.
    • Maintain accuracy of purchase orderincluding items quantities due dates special instructions and termsconditions and receipt dates.
    • Verify currentinventory levels and keep records to prevent inventory gaps.Prepare daily reports requested by the Procurement Manager on theprocurement cycle in order to ensure product delivery according tothe time scheduling.
    • Record on the system thefinalized quotations and stock movements and perform regular stockanalysis.
    • Verify and crosscheck the incomingshipments stock.
    • Maintain an updated databasewith accurate information aboutsuppliers.
    • Enrol all upcoming shipments withnecessary insurance if needed in order to avoid any damages or lossin transit.
    • Ensure that all special orders aresigned by customers and placed on thesystem.
    • Review all customs documents andformalities and coordinate with the shipping agency in case ofdiscrepancies in order to clear shipments on time and avoiddemurrages and port shortage fees.
    • Followup andcommunicate with suppliers about updates order status materialspecifications inquiries and otherissues.

    Profile

    • 4to 7 years of stock management or goods purchasingexperience.
    • Bachelor degree in FinanceAccounting or any related field.
    • Fluent inEnglish. Arabic is a plus.
    • Knowledge ofprocurement cycle policies andprocedures.
    • Ability to analyze data fromdifferent sources and write accurate reports to progress in theprocurementcycle.
