    About the Company

    This company engages in the exploration production transportation and sale of crude oil and natural gas. It operates through the following segments: Upstream Downstream and Corporate. The Upstream segment includes crude oil natural gas and natural gas liquids exploration field development and production. The Downstream segment focuses on refining logistics power generation and the marketing of crude oil petroleum and petrochemical products and related services to international and domestic customers. The Corporate segment offers supporting services including human resources finance and information technology. The company was founded on May and is headquartered in Dhahran Saudi Arabia.

    Job Summary

    We are seeking skilled press officers and media relations professionals to join This Companys International Media Relations (IMR) Unit. The role includes developing and issuing press releases handing inquiries conducting interviews and handling media engagements. The International Media Relations (IMR) Unit functions as the Companys primary point of contact for journalists and media outlets around the world. The unit performs a range of mediarelated tasks involving global print online and broadcast channels. Operating on the front lines of media relations the unit is entrusted with safeguarding and building the reputation of one of the worlds leading energy and chemicals companies.

    Responsibilities:

    • Build maintain and actively manage relationships with journalists and media outlets including Tier 1 international titles trade and specialinterest publications (covering print online and broadcast channels).
    • Provide functional support and advice to senior leaders on strategic media issues.
    • Contribute to crisis communication and response management.
    • Support the Companys quarterly results announcements including media calls and interviews.
    • Prepare media plans communications briefings and Q&A documents for executives.
    • Coordinate media visits interviews and background briefings.
    • Develop corporate announcements and press releases.
    • Provide onsite media relations support to executives at international events conferences and during company activities.
    • Respond effectively to media inquiries in a timely manner.
    • Develop materials that effectively communicate This Companys strategic objectives to global media.
    • Identify potential opportunities to engage with media on highvalue projects.
    • Support story generation activities including proactive article and thought leadership development.
    • Foster positive internal relationships across the company to support the International Media Relations Units key objectives.

    Requirements:

    • This role required candidate to permanently relocate at Dhahran Saudi Arabia.
    • A successful candidate should hold a Bachelors degree from a recognized and approved program in the fields of journalism communications or a related field with equivalent experience. An advanced degree is preferred.
    • Candidate should have a minimum of 3 years experience in journalism media relations or corporate communications gained in either an agency or inhouse corporate setting ideally with previous experience in the energy oil and gas sectors.
    • Previous experience as a spokesperson is preferred while a proven track record in crisis communications is also an advantage.
    • Strong networking skills are essential and the role requires a strong understanding and experience of working in the media or public relations field.
    • The candidate should be able to develop and maintain networks perform well under pressure and handle a variety of requests.
    • Flexibility and good organizational skills are necessary. Candidates should also be detailoriented with a strong sense of responsibility and accountability.
    • Strong interpersonal skills are therefore key. Candidates should also be trustworthy displaying responsibility and care when handling confidential or sensitive topics.
