    We arecurrently shortlisting for an Operations Analyst position for ourclient, one of the leading FX trading firms globally. To beconsidered for this role, you will need to have between 3-5 yearsofworking experience, have exceptional maths & python skills,is happy doing a mix of BAU work, and more interesting project workin Python (and willing to learn Go if needed).


    Youwill gain exposure across all areas of the business and be giventhe opportunity to take ownership over processes early on. With theguidance of the team, you will improve and develop new processesusing a range of technical skills such as Golang and SQL, resolvinga broad set of daily issues will mean regularly interacting withother teams and externalcounterparties.

    Withan ethos to develop robust, scalable solutions that improve theefficiency of the team and accuracy of data, this is an opportunityto take part in the growth of a company where decisions make adifference and the impact of operations is far beyond what youusually see within largeinstitutions.

    Youneed to be technically minded with enthusiasm andinitiative.
    Responsibilities.
    • TradeSupport. Daily reconciliations of cash, positions, and tradingactivity
    • Liaisingwith counterparties on dailyissues
    • Managingcash (margin) across multiple brokers and clearinghouses
    • Liverisk monitoring andescalation
    • Productionof various reports (including P&L, risk,cash)
    • Ad-hoctrade executions & dataanalysis
    • Onboardingnew exchanges, counterparties, brokers, or products around theworld as the businessexpands
    • Buildand maintain automatedprocesses
    • Workwith the technology team to develop new tools andapplications
    • Opportunitiesto gain exposure to various assets classes across the entire tradelifecycle


    Requirements

    EssentialAttributes
    • 3-5years experience ideally having adegreein Mathematics, Engineering or ComputerScience.
    • Keento learn new technicalskills.
    • Stronganalytical and problem-solvingskills.
    • Diligent,focused and prepared to takeownership.
    • Someprogramming experience (Python, Go) related toautomation.
    • Experiencewith APAC Equities, Futures, FX and Optionsadvantageous.
    • Ademonstrated aptitude and interest in processimprovement.
