    Learning and DevelopmentCoordinator

    A Learning andDevelopment Coordinator is responsible for organising deliveringand evaluating training programs to deliver an excellent staffexperience while support management on proper policies andprocedures.

    What will I bedoing

    As a Learning and DevelopmentCoordinator you are responsible for organising delivering andevaluating training programs to deliver an excellent staffexperience. A Learning and Development Coordinator will also berequired to support and advise management on proper policies andprocedures. Specifically you will be responsible for performing thefollowing tasks to the higheststandards:

    • Support and adviseManagers on proper policies andprocedures
    • Support the hotel with departmentaltraining requirements
    • Organise deliver andevaluate training programmes as required
    • Managesuccession planning with senior managers during the biannualappraisal process
    • Manage employee relationsissues in the hotel in a confidential manner includingdisciplinaries grievances and capability
    • Ensureabsence monitoring is in line with companyguidelines
    • Maintain online personnel systempayroll system and monthly reporting
    • Ensurerecruitment and selection process is adhered to and ensure thatappropriate immigration checks are carriedout
    • Ensure completion of training for hotelsecurity fire regulations and other health and safetylegislation
    • Assist in the organisation of TeamMember social events
    • Work with localorganisations and schools to promote the hospitalityindustry
    • Promote and endorse staffbenefits
    • Assist and resolve team member andmanagement queries

    What arewe looking for

    A Learning andDevelopment Coordinator serving Hilton brands is always working onbehalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. Tosuccessfully fill this role you should maintain the attitudebehaviours skills and values thatfollow:

    • Previous experience inTraining Coordinator or equivalentrole
    • Positive attitude
    • Goodcommunication and people skills
    • Committed todelivering a high level of customer service both internally andexternally
    • Excellent groomingstandards
    • Flexibility to respond to a range ofdifferent work situations
    • Ability to work underpressure
    • Ability to work on their own or inteams

    It would be advantageous inthis position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities anddistinctions:

    • CIPD qualified orworking towards qualification orequivalent
    • Knowledge ofhospitality
    • Good knowledge of employment lawand employee relations
    • ITproficiency
