    JOB SUMMARY

    TheMarketing Assistant Manager is part of an important team thatcreates and executes propertylevel communications to our customers.Under the leadership of the Manager of Marketing and Communicationthis role promotes onbrand messaging to customers throughtraditional digital and social media channels all with the goal ofenhancing the image of the hotel. This role helps build directmarketing plans targeted campaigns and activated channels to theend of driving consumer awareness and preference increasing marketshare and building broader portfolio and brand awareness. This roleassists with building deep partnerships with their regionaleCommerce and Marketing teams to verify all local social anddigital marketing efforts are effectively integrated with theselling efforts for the organization.

    Education andExperience

    Required:

    • 2yeardegree from an accredited university in Marketing Public RelationsBusiness Administration or related major and 2 years experience inthe sales marketing digital or related professional area;hospitality marketing or digital advertising experiencepreferred
    • OR
    • 4yearbachelors degree in Marketing Public Relations Business or relatedmajor; no work experiencerequired.

    CORE WORKACTIVITIES

    Hotel Marketing andAdvertising

    • Assists with the executionof the annual marketing plan tobudget.
    • Provides support to Operations Food& Beverage and Sales teams to execute promotions andcampaigns to target inhouse guests with promotions that driveincremental revenue to the hotel.
    • Works withadvertising agency on the tactical advertising campaigns creativeand media plans particularly for food and beveragepromotions.
    • Assists with the management ofF&B media schedules email marketing and displayadvertising.
    • Stays informed about the statusperformance evaluation opportunities and issues related to onlineprograms and initiatives.
    • Helps verify that alladvertising for the hotel in digital channels is in alignment withbrand voice.

    Social Media ContentManagement

    • Supports facilitation ofsocial media engagement and updating content in local digitalchannels (e.g. hotel website travelsites).
    • Assists with promotions campaign inF&B weddings spa rooms and conferences through relevantdigital and social media channels.
    • Engages inproactive online reputation management by surfacing relevant guestcomments (positive or negative) in social media channels andresponds accordingly.
