POSITION SUMMARY
Pull food from freezerstorage to thaw in the refrigerator. Check the quantity and qualityof deliveries and received products ensuring appropriatetemperature of delivered items. Date delivered boxes and recordfood and supply deliveries. Rotate food in freezer walkin coolerand stockroom prior to the arrival of a delivery. Monitor thequality quantity of food that is prepared and the portions.
Preparevarious cuts of meat as required including correctly preparing beeflamb and pork cuts and labeling the type of cut date anddestination of meats.
Prepare and cook food according to recipesquality standards presentation standards and food preparationchecklist.Assistmanagement in hiring training scheduling evaluating counselingdisciplining and motivating and coaching employees; serve as a rolemodel.
Follow all company and safety and security policies andprocedures; report maintenance needs accidents injuries and unsafework conditions to manager; complete safety training andcertifications.
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are cleanand professional; protect company assets. Speak with others usingclear and professional language. Develop and maintain positiveworking relationships with others; support team to reach commongoals. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.Stand sit or walk for an extended period of time. Reach overheadand below the knees including bending twisting pulling andstooping. Move lift carry push pull and place objects weighing lessthan or equal to 25 pounds without assistance. Grasp turn andmanipulate objects of varying size and weight. Perform otherreasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
