    Sales Executive / PreOpening

    A Sales Executive analyseslocal market trends and competitor activity to generate new futurebusiness for the hotel.

    What will I bedoing

    As Sales Executive you willanalyse local market trends and competitor activity to generate newfuture business for the hotel. Specifically you will be responsiblefor performing the following tasks to the higheststandards:

    • Analysis local markettrends and competitor activity to identify new businessleads
    • Develop customer accounts and travelwithin the local area to drive business into the specifichotel/cluster and to increase market/customer share in all revenuestreams
    • Negotiate room rates/packages withcorporate clients
    • Develop and implementcreative local marketing channels including social mediachannels
    • Prepare company contracts for thehotel in accordance with current business and pricingconditions
    • Work within current businessstrategies and recognising potential opportunities
    • Cooperate with other departments in the hotel to createan exceptional Guest experience and build strong comprehensivesales programs
    • Attend Sales events asrequired
    • Produce accurate and timely reportsthat meet the needs of the Sales Director and senior management toinclude the reporting of appointments calls made and businessleads
    • Answer customer queries in a prompt andprofessional manner
